The North Polars basketball team (North St. Paul, MN), was nudged 57-53 in Friday's league battle with the host Woodbury Royals (Woodbury, MN)
The Royals now possess a 4-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edina for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 7. Woodbury will confront a Hornets team coming off a 80-69 non-league loss to Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN). The Hornets record now stands at 9-7.
The Polars (4-12) will now prepare for their battle against Tartan (Oakdale, MN). The Titans come into the AAAA Section 4 battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Tartan edged Hastings (Hastings, MN), 61-33, in a non-league battle.
