California High School Basketball - Mammoth overwhelmed by Desert

The Mammoth Huskies basketball team (Mammoth Lakes, CA), was overwhelmed 71-31 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Desert Scorpions (Edwards AFB, CA)

The Scorpions now possess a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rosamond for a High Desert battle on Tuesday, February 7. Desert will confront a Roadrunners team coming off a 35-34 league win over Kern Valley (Lake Isabella, CA). The Roadrunners record now stands at 19-7.

The Huskies (2-14) will now prepare for their battle against Frazier Mountain (Lebec, CA). The Falcons come into the High Desert battle with a 1-13 record. In their last battle, Frazier Mountain was overwhelmed by Boron (Boron, CA), 44-6, in a league battle.
