Kentucky High School Basketball - Frederick Douglass crushes Lafayette

Frederick Douglass Broncos (Lexington, KY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lafayette Generals (Lexington, KY), 71-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Frederick Douglass upgrades its record to 16-7 on the season. The Broncos travel to Sayre (Lexington, KY) to play the Spartans in a District 42 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 6-10.
Next up, the Generals play the Notre Dame Academy Pandas (Park Hills, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Lafayette will attempt to upgrade on its 12-12 season record.
