Jefferson County North Chargers (Winchester, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy Ravens (Atchison, KS), 45-15 in a league bout.

With the win, Jefferson County North upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Chargers host Horton (Horton, KS) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 3-12. Horton lost 42-25 in their recent league bout against Valley Falls (Valley Falls, KS)

Next up, the Ravens play the Oskaloosa Bears (Oskaloosa, KS) in a Northeast Kansas bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 35-32 league loss to Valley Falls (Valley Falls, KS).
