Strasburg/Zeeland Clippers (Strasburg, ND) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Solen Sioux (Solen, ND), 53-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Strasburg/Zeeland upgrades its record to 4-10 on the season. The Clippers host Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] (Gettysburg, SD) to play the Battlers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Battlers go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] lost 63-52 in their recent league bout against Sully Buttes (Onida, SD)

Next up, the Sioux play the McIntosh Tigers (McIntosh, SD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Solen will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 1-11 record after their 57-35 league loss to Wakpala (Wakpala, SD).
