In Monday's non-league contest, the host Treutlen Vikings basketball team scored a big 73-49 triumph over the Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs.

The Vikings (13-7) will now prepare for their contest against Wilkinson County (Irwinton, GA). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 14-6 record. In their last contest, Wilkinson County was trounced by Hancock Central (Sparta, GA), 58-51, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Savannah Classical Academy Spartans (Savannah, GA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Emanuel County Institute will attempt to better on its 2-17 season record. The Spartans go into the contest with a 8-11 record after their 63-43 non-league win over The Habersham School (Savannah, GA).
