The Iredell Dragons basketball team (Iredell, TX), was overwhelmed 74-37 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Morgan Eagles (Morgan, TX)
The Eagles now possess a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Covington for a 1A Region III District 20 battle on Tuesday, February 8. Morgan will meet a Owls team coming off a 37-36 league loss to Walnut Springs (Walnut Springs, TX). The Owls record now stands at 11-11.
The Dragons (5-19) will now prepare for their contest against Blum (Blum, TX). The Bobcats enter the 1A Region III District 20 contest with a 7-5 record.
