Washington, DC High School Basketball - Blue Ridge thwarted by St. John's

The Blue Ridge Barons basketball team (St. George, VA), dropped 66-58 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC)
The Cadets now possess a 21-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gonzaga for a DCSAA AA battle on Tuesday, February 7. St. John's will battle a Eagles team coming off a 76-67 non-league win over St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 20-4.
The Barons (15-10) will now prepare for their battle against Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA). The Bishops come into the non-league battle with a 8-18 record. In their last battle, Virginia Episcopal School dropped by St. Christopher's (Richmond, VA), 67-50, in a non-league test.
