West Virginia High School Basketball - Notre Dame knocked off by Petersburg

The Petersburg Vikings basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Notre Dame Fighting Irish to 53 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Vikings now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Frankfort for a Potomac Valley AA contest on Tuesday, February 7. Petersburg will meet a Falcons team coming off a 68-56 league win over Berkeley Springs (Berkeley Springs, WV). The Falcons record now stands at 9-7.
The Fighting Irish (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against St. Marys (St. Marys, WV). The Blue Devils enter the non-league contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, St. Marys ran past Magnolia (New Martinsville, WV), 65-60, in a non-league contest.
