The Marshall Hilltoppers (Duluth, MN) basketball nipped the host Pillager Huskies (Pillager, MN), 64-58 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Hilltoppers (11-6) will now prepare for their test against Mounds Park Academy (St. Paul, MN). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 13-5 record.
The Huskies now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Staples-Motley for a AA Section 7 test on Monday, February 6. Pillager will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 66-38 league win over Aitkin (Aitkin, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-11.
