In Saturday's league outing, the Nyssa Bulldogs (Nyssa, OR) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting McLoughlin Pioneers (Milton-Freewater, OR), by a margin of 59-16.
The Bulldogs (17-4) will now prepare for their outing against Vale (Vale, OR). The Vikings go into the 3A Eastern Oregon outing with a 15-8 record. In their last outing, Vale smashed Umatilla (Umatilla, OR), 45-14, in a league outing.
The Pioneers now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they travel to Riverside for a 3A Eastern Oregon outing on Tuesday, February 7. McLoughlin will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 59-17 league loss to Burns (Burns, OR). The Pirates record now stands at 7-15.
