The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Mt. Pleasant Oilers (Mt. Pleasant, MI) and the visiting Heritage Hawks (Saginaw, MI), observed Mt. Pleasant's basketball team knock off Heritage by a score of 53-45.

The Oilers (11-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Dow (Midland, MI). The Chargers come into the Saginaw Valley challenge with a 10-6 record. In their last challenge, Dow was knocked off by Swan Valley (Saginaw, MI), 54-48, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hawks encounter the Carman-Ainsworth Cavaliers (Flint, MI) in a Saginaw Valley challenge, on Friday, February 7. Heritage will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 84-45 league win over Lapeer (Lapeer, MI).
