The Academy for Academic Excellence Knights basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host Big Bear Bears to 37 in the Knights league triumph on Tuesday.

The Knights now have a 9-14 record. They play next when they travel to California Lutheran for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 5. Academy for Academic Excellence will confront a C-Hawks team coming off a 59-14 league loss to California School for the Deaf-Riverside (Riverside, CA). The C-Hawks record now stands at 2-12.

With the loss, Big Bear falls to 1-25 on the campaign. The Bears host Lucerne Valley (Lucerne Valley, CA) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Wednesday, February 5. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 15-8. Lucerne Valley won 40-13 in their recent non-league game against Santa Rosa Academy (Menifee, CA)
