South Carolina High School Basketball - Gilbert tipped by Midland Valley

February 4, 2025: Gilbert, SC 29054

The Midland Valley Mustangs got by the host Gilbert Indians basketball squad by a final score of 45-44 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Aiken Fighting Green Hornets (Aiken, SC) in a AAAA Region 4 outing, on Friday, February 7. Midland Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-17 season record. The Fighting Green Hornets come into the outing with a 14-6 record after their 55-30 league win over Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC).

The Indians (4-16) will now prepare for their outing against Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC). The War Eagles come into the AAAA Region 4 outing with a 11-6 record. In their last outing, Gray Collegiate Academy held off Airport (West Columbia, SC), 54-35, in a league outing.
