The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Emerald Aerouants (Dublin, CA) and the visiting Antioch Panthers (Antioch, CA), observed Emerald's basketball team knock off Antioch by a score of 43-26.

The Aerouants (7-19) will now prepare for their challenge against Freedom (Oakley, CA). The Falcons come into the challenge with a 9-11 record. In their last challenge, Freedom dropped by Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA), 39-27, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Silver Creek Raiders (San Jose, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 8. Antioch will attempt to improve on its 2-16 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 41-40 league win over Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA).
