The Waterford Lancers basketball team (Waterford, CT), was nudged 72-69 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT)

The Falcons now possess a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Lyme for a Eastern Connecticut I battle on Friday, February 9. Fitch will confront a Vikings team coming off a 61-57 non-league win over Waterford (Waterford, CT). The Vikings record now stands at 11-6.

The Lancers (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against East Lyme (East Lyme, CT). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 10-6 record. In their last battle, East Lyme edged Windham (Willimantic, CT), 59-48, in a league battle.
