Washington High School Basketball - Meridian holds off Sedro-Woolley

In Wednesday's league contest, the host Meridian Trojans basketball team scored a close 45-42 triumph over the Sedro-Woolley Cubs.
The Trojans (13-6) will now prepare for their contest against Bellingham (Bellingham, WA). The Bayhawks go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, Bellingham was tipped by La Conner (La Conner, WA), 42-36, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cubs confront the Blaine Borderites (Blaine, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest, on Saturday, February 8. Sedro-Woolley will attempt to better on its 8-11 season record. The Borderites go into the contest with a 4-12 record after their 57-25 league loss to Ferndale (Ferndale, WA).
