The Homer Pelicans tipped the visiting Arcadia Hornets basketball team by a final score of 34-28 in Monday's league game.

In their next game, the Pelicans face the Glenbrook Apaches (Minden, LA) in a 1A District 1 game, on Tuesday, February 7. Homer will attempt to move on its 10-2 season record. The Apaches enter the game with a 3-6 record after their 46-37 league loss to Plain Dealing (Plain Dealing, LA).

With the defeat, Arcadia moves to 8-7 on the year.
