Kentucky High School Basketball - Rowan County winner over Montgomery County

February 6, 2024: Mt. Sterling, KY 40353

The Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY) basketball felled the host Montgomery County Indians (Mt. Sterling, KY), 66-51 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Vikings (15-8) will now prepare for their test against Bath County (Owingsville, KY). The Wildcats go into the District 61 test with a 6-16 record.

The Indians now own a 8-15 record. They play next when they host Paris for a District 40 test on Friday, February 9. Montgomery County will encounter a Greyhounds squad coming off a 85-57 non-league loss to Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY). The Greyhounds record now stands at 6-14.
