Bishop Heelan Catholic Crusaders (Sioux City, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting South Sioux City Cardinals (South Sioux City, NE), 67-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bishop Heelan Catholic upgrades its record to 18-1 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA) to play the Lynx in a Missouri River bout on Friday, February 9. The Lynx go into the bout with a record of 8-11. Lincoln lost 61-34 in their recent non-league bout against Marian (Omaha, NE)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Gross Catholic Cougars (Omaha, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 9. South Sioux City will attempt to upgrade on its 13-8 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 11-11 record after their 57-49 league win over Concordia (Omaha, NE).
