Buena Vista Demons (Buena Vista, CO) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Manitou Springs Mustangs (Manitou Springs, CO), 56-20 in a league bout.

With the victory, Buena Vista upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Demons travel to James Irwin (Colorado Springs, CO) to play the Jaguars in a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks bout on Thursday, February 8. The Jaguars come into the bout with a record of 2-13. James Irwin lost 50-31 in their recent league bout against Lamar (Lamar, CO)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Rye Thunderbolts (Rye, CO) in a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks bout, on Friday, February 9. Manitou Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Thunderbolts come into the bout with a 3-13 record after their 90-34 league loss to St. Mary's (Colorado Springs, CO).
