In Tuesday's league outing, the Ellsworth Panthers (Ellsworth, WI) basketball squad beat the visiting Somerset Spartans (Somerset, WI), by a count of 46-34.

The Panthers (14-9) will now prepare for their outing against Osceola (Osceola, WI). The Chieftains go into the Middle Border outing with a 2-19 record. In their last outing, Osceola was topped by Baldwin-Woodville (Baldwin, WI), 48-16, in a league outing.

The Spartans now hold a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Altoona for a Middle Border outing on Friday, February 9. Somerset will clash with a Railroaders squad coming off a 52-36 league win over St. Croix Central (Hammond, WI). The Railroaders record now stands at 17-5.
