The NorthPointe Christian Mustangs basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Kelloggsville Rockets to 16 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sparta for a Ottawa-Kent - Blue contest on Friday, February 9. NorthPointe Christian will battle a Spartans team coming off a 36-32 league win over Hopkins (Hopkins, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 6-9.

The Rockets (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Hopkins (Hopkins, MI). The Vikings enter the Ottawa-Kent - Silver contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Hopkins was routed by Sparta (Sparta, MI), 36-32, in a league contest.
