The Westmoreland Eagles basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Rappahannock Raiders to 39 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Essex for a Northern Neck contest on Thursday, February 8. Westmoreland will meet a Trojans team coming off a 50-35 league win over Lancaster (Lancaster, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 17-0.

The Raiders (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Northumberland (Heathsville, VA). The Indians enter the Northern Neck contest with a 3-14 record. In their last contest, Northumberland was defeated by Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA), 37-9, in a league contest.
