The Westminster Schools of Augusta Wildcats basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Frederica Academy to 50 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.
The Wildcats now have a 14-5 record. They play next when they host Bulloch Academy for a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 2 game on Saturday, February 8. Westminster Schools of Augusta will confront a Gators team coming off a 43-26 league win over St. Andrew's (Savannah, GA). The Gators record now stands at 6-9.
With the loss, Frederica Academy falls to 17-1 on the campaign. The host Pinewood Christian (Bellville, GA) to confront the Patriots in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 2 game on Friday, February 7. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 12-10. Pinewood Christian won 39-38 in their recent non-league game against Brentwood (Sandersville, GA)
