The North Lenoir Hawks (LaGrange, NC) basketball felled the host South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC), 60-45 in Tuesday's league test.
The Hawks (11-11) will now prepare for their test against Kinston (Kinston, NC). The Vikings go into the 2A Conference 6 test with a 18-4 record. In their last test, Kinston thwarted Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC), 72-56, in a league test.
The Blue Devils now own a 4-14 record.
