The St. John Eagles basketball team (Plaquemine, LA), was nudged 43-41 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Ascension Catholic Bulldogs (Donaldsonville, LA)
The Bulldogs now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Charles Catholic for a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 8.
The Eagles (8-13) will now prepare for their battle against St. Joseph's - Plaucheville (Plaucheville, LA). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 7-16 record.
