Iowa High School Basketball - Central Clinton knocked off by Davenport North

The Davenport North Wildcats basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Central Clinton Sabers to 50 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Davenport Central for a Mississippi contest on Friday, February 10. Davenport North will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 85-16 league loss to Pleasant Valley (Pleasant Valley, IA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 7-12.
The Sabers (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against North Scott (Eldridge, IA). The Lancers enter the Mississippi contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, North Scott ran past Muscatine (Muscatine, IA), 69-43, in a league contest.
