Mondovi Buffaloes (Mondovi, WI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Spring Valley Cardinals (Spring Valley, WI), 69-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Mondovi upgrades its record to 5-12 on the season. The Buffaloes travel to Whitehall (Whitehall, WI) to play the Norse in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 9. The Norse go into the bout with a record of 8-7. Whitehall lost 85-43 in their recent league bout against Blair-Taylor (Blair, WI)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Elk Mound Mounders (Elk Mound, WI) in a Dunn-St. Croix bout, on Friday, February 10. Spring Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Mounders go into the bout with a 18-1 record after their 59-56 league win over Colfax (Colfax, WI).
