In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Thomaston Bears basketball team scored a tight 41-35 triumph over the Nonnewaug Chiefs.
In their next game, the Bears meet the Terryville Kangaroos (Terryville, CT) in a Berkshire match, on Friday, February 10. Thomaston will attempt to better on its 14-3 season record. The Kangaroos enter the match with a 2-12 record after their 36-29 non-league loss to Housatonic-Wamogo (Falls Village, CT).
