The Britton Deerfield Patriots basketball team (Britton, MI), was nudged 35-32 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Waldron Spartans (Waldron, MI)
The Spartans now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Litchfield for a Southern Central battle on Friday, February 9. Waldron will battle a Terriers team coming off a 57-22 non-league win over Will Carleton Academy (Hillsdale, MI). The Terriers record now stands at 7-6.
The Patriots (2-14) will now prepare for their battle against Sand Creek (Sand Creek, MI). The Aggies come into the Tri-County battle with a 1-12 record.
