California High School Basketball - Wheatland ripped by Bear River

The Bear River Bruins basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Wheatland Pirates to 30 in the Bruins league triumph on Wednesday.
The Bruins now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marysville for a contest on Friday, February 9. Bear River will battle a Indians team coming off a 55-19 league win over Lindhurst (Olivehurst, CA). The Indians record now stands at 13-13.
The Pirates (4-16) will now prepare for their contest against Center (Antelope, CA). The Cougars enter the contest with a 4-16 record. In their last contest, Center was routed by Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA), 58-17, in a league contest.
