The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the East Hampton Bellringers (East Hampton, CT) and the visiting North Branford Thunderbirds (North Branford, CT), observed East Hampton's basketball team overcome North Branford by a margin of 50-39.

The Bellringers (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Morgan (Clinton, CT). The Huskies come into the Shoreline challenge with a 14-4 record. In their last challenge, Morgan dropped by Stonington (Stonington, CT), 49-44, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Thunderbirds battle the Haddam-Killingworth Cougars (Higganum, CT) in a Shoreline challenge, on Saturday, February 8. North Branford will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 38-33 league win over East Hampton (East Hampton, CT).
