Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Central Heights Vikings (Richmond, KS) and the host Jayhawk Linn Jayhawks (Mound City, KS), saw Central Heights's basketball squad wallop Jayhawk Linn by a tally of 80-28.

With the victory, Central Heights improves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Vikings host Council Grove (Council Grove, KS) to play the Braves in a Flint Hills challenge on Monday, February 12. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 7-9. Council Grove lost 65-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Sacred Heart (Salina, KS)

Next up, the Jayhawks play the Marmaton Valley Wildcats (Moran, KS) in a Three Rivers challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Jayhawk Linn will attempt to improve on its 5-13 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 58-44 non-league loss to Altoona-Midway (Buffalo, KS).
