Lone Oak Buffaloes (Lone Oak, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Grand Saline Indians (Grand Saline, TX), 64-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Lone Oak upgrades its record to 21-10 on the season. The Buffaloes host Rains (Emory, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 3A Region II District 12 bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 20-11. Rains won 61-37 in their recent league bout against Prairiland (Pattonville, TX)

Next up, the Indians play the Chisum Mustangs (Paris, TX) in a 3A Region II District 12 bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Grand Saline will attempt to upgrade on its 13-19 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 22-12 record after their 39-36 league loss to Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX).
