Williamston Hornets (Williamston, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Haslett Vikings (Haslett, MI), 57-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Williamston upgrades its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Hornets host Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Monday, February 12. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 6-10. Norrix lost 39-30 in their recent league bout against Kalamazoo Central (Kalamazoo, MI)

Next up, the Vikings play the Marshall Redhawks (Marshall, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Haslett will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record. The Redhawks come into the bout with a 8-9 record after their 76-69 non-league win over Leslie (Leslie, MI).
