Woodside Wildcats (Woodside, CA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Palo Alto Vikings (Palo Alto, CA), 12-6 in a non-league battle.

The Wildcats now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Pioneer for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 6. Woodside will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 17-9 non-league loss to Monte Vista Christian (Watsonville, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-2.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Los Altos Eagles (Los Altos, CA) in a SCVAL battle, on Monday, March 4. Palo Alto will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 12-9 non-league loss to Menlo-Atherton (Atherton, CA).
