Northeast Lauderdale Trojans (Meridian, MS) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Ethel Tigers (Ethel, MS), 11-2 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Northeast Lauderdale advances its record to 3-5 on the season. The Trojans host Ridgeland (Ridgeland, MS) to battle the Titans in a non-league match on Friday, March 7. The Titans come into the match with a record of 3-2. Ridgeland won 4-0 in their recent non-league match against Brandon (Brandon, MS)

The Tigers now have a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host McAdams for a 1A Region 6 match on Tuesday, March 4. Ethel will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 14-2 non-league loss to Leake County (Walnut Grove, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
