McKenzie Rebels (McKenzie, TN) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Hughes Lions (Clifton, TN), 58-48 in a non-league match.
With the victory, McKenzie advances its record to 13-14 on the year. The Rebels travel to McEwen (McEwen, TN) to face the Warriors in a 1A District 12 match on Tuesday, March 4. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 18-9. McEwen won 69-29 in their recent non-league match against Collinwood (Collinwood, TN)
The Lions now own a 16-10 record.
