The Birmingham Patriots baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Sylmar Spartans to 1 in the Patriots non-league victory on Thursday.
The Patriots (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Burroughs (Burbank, CA). The Bears go into the non-league match with a 6-4 record. In their last match, Burroughs ran past Glendale (Glendale, CA), 13-6, in a league match.
