In Thursday's non-league contest, the Ider Hornets (Ider, AL) softball team overwhelmed the host Section Lions (Section, AL), by a margin of 17-0.
With the triumph, Ider moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Hornets travel to Saks (Anniston, AL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 15. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 1-4.
In their next game, the Lions play the Sylvania Rams (Sylvania, AL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 21. Section will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record.
