The Anna Coyotes baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Lone Oak Buffaloes to 1 in the Coyotes non-league victory on Friday.
The Coyotes (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Sanger (Sanger, TX). The Indians go into the 4A Region II District 9 match with a 7-5 record.
The Buffaloes (2-7) will now prepare for their match against Irving (Irving, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 0-8 record. In their last match, Irving was overwhelmed by Rains (Emory, TX), 11-0, in a non-league match.
