The Cherokee Warriors crushed the visiting Walton Raiders baseball team by a count of 9-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host Milton for a AAAAAAA Region 5 bout on Tuesday, March 15. Cherokee will face a Eagles team coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to St. Francis (Alpharetta, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-7.
Next, the Raiders face the Marietta Blue Devils (Marietta, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, March 15. Walton will attempt to move on its 9-4 season record. The Blue Devils enter the bout with a 6-7 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Roswell (Roswell, GA).
