The South Spartans held off the host Warren Bears volleyball team by a score of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Spartans now have a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Dimas for a non-league test on Saturday, March 11. South will confront a Saints team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Garden Grove (Garden Grove, CA). The Saints record now stands at 3-2.
The Bears (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Paramount (Paramount, CA). The Pirates enter the San Gabriel Valley test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, Paramount held off South El Monte (South El Monte, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
