The Clements Colts baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Shoals Christian Flame to 1 in the Colts non-league win on Tuesday.

The Colts now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they host Colbert Heights for a non-league test on Thursday, March 13. Clements will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 9-7 non-league win over Belgreen (Russellville, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-8.

With the defeat, Shoals Christian drops to 2-7 on the year. The Flame host Lexington (Lexington, AL) to clash with the Golden Bears in a non-league test on Thursday, March 13. The Golden Bears go into the test with a record of 5-9. Lexington won 7-5 in their recent non-league test against East Lawrence (Trinity, AL)
