The Wynne Yellowjackets baseball team scored 3 runs and held the host Marion Patriots to 2 in the Yellowjackets non-league win on Tuesday.
The Yellowjackets now hold a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brookland for a non-league test on Thursday, March 13. Wynne will play a Bearcats team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Lonoke (Lonoke, AR). The Bearcats record now stands at 1-3.
With the defeat, Marion drops to 2-2 on the year. The Patriots travel to Stuttgart (Stuttgart, AR) to play the Ricebirds in a non-league test on Friday, March 14. The Ricebirds go into the test with a record of 2-1.
