The Puyallup Vikings baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Mount Vernon Bulldogs to 4 in the Vikings non-league win on Tuesday.
The Vikings now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Eastlake for a non-league test on Saturday, March 15. Puyallup will clash with a Wolves team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Meadowdale (Lynnwood, WA). The Wolves record now stands at 2-0.
With the defeat, Mount Vernon drops to 0-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Anacortes (Anacortes, WA) to clash with the Seahawks in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Wednesday, March 12. The Seahawks go into the test with a record of 0-0.
