The Bismarck Lions baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Hope Bobcats to 1 in the Lions non-league win on Thursday.

The Lions now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arkadelphia for a non-league test on Friday, March 14. Bismarck will play a Badgers team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Woodlawn (Rison, AR). The Badgers record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Hope drops to 0-6 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Prescott (Prescott, AR) to play the Curley Wolves in a non-league test on Friday, March 14. The Curley Wolves go into the test with a record of 1-4. Prescott lost 15-2 in their recent non-league test against Camden Fairview (Camden, AR)
