In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Cannon Cougars lacrosse squad scored a good 19-3 win over the Community School of Davidson Spartans.
The Cougars (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Lake Norman Charter beat Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 14-13, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Spartans meet the Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) in a Greater Metro/Queen City/Catawba Shores/S Piedmont contest, on Friday, March 14. Community School of Davidson will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Huskies enter the contest with a 3-0 record after their 24-8 non-league win over Providence (Charlotte, NC).
