The Murphy Panthers baseball squad (Mobile, AL), was overwhelmed 17-1 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Excel Panthers (Excel, AL)

With the triumph, Excel moves its record to 12-2 on the season. The Panthers host Davidson (Mobile, AL) to confront the Warriors in a non-league contest on Monday, March 16. The Warriors come into the contest with a record of 3-8. Davidson won 9-2 in their recent non-league contest against Citronelle (Citronelle, AL)

Next, the Panthers face the Blount Leopards (Eight Mile, AL) in a 6A Area 1 battle, on Tuesday, March 17. Murphy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Leopards enter the battle with a 5-3 record after their 22-4 non-league win over Rain (Mobile, AL).
